Art washes away from the soul the dust of everyday life. That’s a quote I found online that I feel is true of artwork. I’m no artist myself, I can barely draw something basic, but I love admiring art and have started collecting a few artbooks. I’ve even been to Rome, Italy and seen paintings from some of the greatest artists ever lived, especially in the Vatican Museum which I highly recommend to every person on Earth to see.
With my love of videogames and art, came the easy decision to buy video game artbooks. I didn’t even know these existed until I started seeing the Final Fantasy ones like Sky and Amano or the Legend of Zelda Hyrule Historia. There are so many avenues to discover when it comes to videogames, that the art is just another way to see this amazing medium in a new way.

Below is a short video review I did of the Art Of Mana book. I’ve never done a video like that before, so please excuse any imperfections you find. I hope you enjoy it and I will be doing more of these. I can write all I want about an artbook, but unless you see it for yourself it’s not the full experience. It’s like explaining a videogame, but until you play it then you really know how it is.
Let me know what you thought, and what artbooks have you read or looking forward to read (gaming or not). God bless!
