One thing I have noticed for a few years now, is how videogames can be used to be a blessing to others in practical ways. Yes, they are very fun to play, can help us reduce stress and have other benefits, but helping people financially via charities is something I want to get behind. Besides the annual Extra Life streaming that I do with Christian Geek Central, another way that videogames are helping charities is through Humble Bundle.
Humble Bundle sells games, ebooks, software, and other digital content. Our mission is to support charity while providing awesome content to customers at great prices. We launched in 2010 with a single two-week Humble Indie Bundle, but we have humbly grown into a store full of games and bundles, a subscription service, a game publisher, and more.

If you’ve never heard of them before, they are a fantastic service that weekly have sales on various digital products. From videogames to comics, ebooks, music and more, they have lots of sales that can save you money while helping out others. I’m mainly interested in their gaming or manga sales, since their games are Steam codes it’s easy to add them and start playing. Often, the prices are cheaper than other stores so it’s good to keep an eye open for a game that you might have wanted. I will say though, sometimes the games aren’t popular ones so you might not always be interested in what’s available.
I signed up for their partner role, so now Gaming & God will receive a small commission for any purchases that you make using our link. I’ve selected Extra Life as our charity of choice, since it’s a gaming related one and trusted to make sure the money goes where it needs to be. I’m very careful with who I give money to, as God asks us to be good stewards of it.
Any commissions that I receive go back to this website, mainly to pay for the WordPress yearly subscription to keep the site active. I pay that out of my own pocket, so even a few dollars here and there would help out. So go check out what sales Humble Bundle has right now, and remember your money is going to Extra Life and Gaming & God.
Let me know what games or other things you’ve purchased from Humble Bundle before!
