Christians have had a bad rep for not creating good art. Whether it’s literal drawings, music, movies, or even video games, people are quick to point out how boring it can be.
While this can be true for some productions, it can’t be said for all. Regarding video games, I struggled to find titles that incorporated my faith in Christ and belief in God, which were made with excellence. Let’s be real, video games need to be good for people to play them, especially with the competition out there for our time and money!
Because I have played and found some that fit those criteria, I wanted to highlight those games below. This is a list of strictly Christian-based games with links to play them, as well as a list of creators or companies that you can check out for new games.

Gate Zero — Steam (PC) (In Development)
Gate Zero is a story-rich adventure game that takes you on a journey through 1st-century Israel, allowing you to explore historical locations and experience key events from the Gospels firsthand.

Adventures of the Old Testament is a budget 3D action-adventure that walks through Old Testament stories. Read short Scripture summaries, watch animated episodes, and play quests as Noah and Abraham. It is rough around the edges and reviews are mixed, but it costs very little if you are curious.
The Great Commission: Strategic Card Game — Card Game (Official Store)
The Great Commission is a cooperative (or solo) strategy card game set in the early Roman era. Lead your church from cities like Rome or Jerusalem with figures such as Peter, Paul, or Mary, build up resources, and work through conflict and moral challenges to spread the Gospel. Out now from the makers of the Word for Word Bible Comic. It ships from the UK, and US stock can be limited, so check the store for current shipping options.
Deliverance — Board Game (Official Store)
Deliverance is a cooperative tactical board game of spiritual warfare from Lowen Games. Play as angels defending the town of Fallbrook against demonic forces, in a single skirmish or a full story campaign. For 1 to 4 players, including a solo mode, with games running about 1 to 2 hours. The expansion, Council of the Fallen, is listed under upcoming games below.

- Summary: A cinematic, third-person narrative adventure that invites players into the world of Jesus through the eyes of a young fisherman. Featuring branching story paths, detailed visuals, and cultural authenticity, the prologue is available on PC now, with console versions planned.
David’s Mighty Warriors

- Summary: Take command of King David’s elite fighters in a team-based action adventure during Absalom’s rebellion (2 Samuel). Alternate between powerful melee and ranged tactics with companions like Abishai, and uncover spiritual relics to aid your quest. The game is currently in development.
Deliverance: Council of the Fallen

- Summary: An expansion and reprint of the award-winning cooperative board game Deliverance, where players command angelic forces in tactical combat against demons. Featuring both skirmish and narrative-driven campaign modes, the Kickstarter successfully funded in September 2024.
Clayfire — An Interactive Gospel Gaming Experience

- Summary: Clayfire is a hand-drawn, multi-platform 2D adventure-platformer inspired by the Gospel of John. It invites players of all ages into a fantasy realm where they experience saving grace, bring light to darkness, and are encouraged to live for Jesus. Developed by the non-profit Salvation Poem Project, Clayfire is slated to debut in 2027.

Funhill Games began as a creative way to teach Bible geography to a teen study group in Texas. What started as a homemade board game became Kings of Israel, later funded on Kickstarter. Since then, they’ve released a video game version, four additional board games, and a puzzle—all rooted in biblical themes and designed to make learning fun and engaging.
The Christian Game Developers Conference connects and equips Christians in the gaming industry through an annual event, ongoing community support, and local meetups focused on faith, tech, and collaboration.
