Gamers love their merch. If you weren’t aware, there are tons and tons of merchandise aimed to gamers, whether it’s t-shirts, music, home decor, art, figures, toys, jewelry, and just about anything else you can think of. I am very picky as to what I buy, as I prefer buying quality over quantity (as I got older, I switch to that method of thinking) and it can be difficult to find good companies that produce quality. Just like everything sold on any marketplace, there are knock-offs, and poorly made goods. I have looked high and low over the years for products to decorate or wear, and I wanted to start with my favorite, FanGamer.
If you have never heard of them, let me share what they are about from their About Us page:
Fangamer is a small videogame merchandise company based in—and shipping from—Tucson, Arizona. We got started in 2008 with one goal: Celebrating our favorite games with products we actually wanted to own.
They sell artwork, home decor, apparel, music, plush, key chains, pins, stickers and lots of other well-done products from various creators. I only like to promote what I personally have played or used, and I frequently buy from their website. What I enjoy purchasing are their t-shirts (which fit really well, and last a long time) and artwork. I have several posters up in my home, and I wear their shirts as pajamas or while I’m home. The pictures are not ironed on the shirt, as has been the case for a couple other geeky apparel I’ve bought. These are part of the shirt, so you can’t peel it off or anything, and it won’t come out in the washer.
The art pieces are unique and they have something for every gamer. Some are not my taste, but I will show a few images below of what I have personally bought from them. I noticed while downloading the images that several t-shirts or posters were no longer for sale, so if you see something you want I would recommend getting it before it’s gone for good!
It’s always fun to show off the games we like with merch, so I hope you check out Fangamer and what they have to offer. They often have sales, so sign up for their newsletter so you can find out what just released, sales, and other goodies they offer.
Let me know if you have purchased from Fangamer before, and if not this store, which one do you recommend for geeky merchandise?
