Gaming & God Will Be At PAX Online 2020!

What a year this has been! We have all been affected by this virus situation in many ways, often negatively. It can be hard to find any good when looking at this year, but know that God is always in control and He is with us. As a gamer, one thing that I have enjoyed is that many cons and events are now online, when previously they were difficult to get to since they were far from me. The recent Summer Game Fest just passed and they did their best to put together as much content as possible. I thought it was a great idea, and there were plenty of trailers, news, demos, interviews and other highlights.

Romans 8:38-39

38 For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, 39 nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.

One event that I have always wanted to attend, among others, is PAX! They focus on indie games, and have several conferences in different parts of the USA annually. PAX East is the closest to me, but I have not been able to go yet in person. I decided to see if they were doing anything, and to my excitement, they are holding an online event called PAX Online and I signed up as media. This has been a blessing, as I have received emails on games I can review and interviews I can have with developers. I have gone to cons before as media, but they just give me a little badge and that’s it. This one seems more professional and organized, so I’m looking forward to writing a few posts on what I can cover. It’s my first ever indie con, even though it’s online, so I’m looking forward to it!

Have you been to PAX before? Are you going to PAX Online? It’s free to register, and they have lots of interesting panels that I hope to see. Below are the ones I’m interested in. Let me know if you will be going, and what games your looking forward to! God bless, and let’s take advantage of these free experiences while they last. This too shall pass, life will go back to normal, and God is still sitting on His throne.
