GameSave 2021 x St. Jude – Streaming Fundraiser

When it comes to our hobbies, sometimes it can be difficult to find ways to use them for the good of others. Throughout the gaming community though, there are actually lots of events and gatherings that raise money to help those in need. For many years I didn’t even know they existed since I didn’t blog or wasn’t very involved with other gamers, I just enjoyed my games for myself.

After blogging for several years, I’ve found several groups or individuals that come together with a plan to be a light in a dark place, using videogames as the vehicle. For several years, the one I’ve chosen to partner with has been Christian Geek Central. Paeter, the lead geek of the platform, does lots of streaming himself and puts together an annual fundraiser with other gamers. This year, our goal is $1,000 and we have already raised quite a bit, thank God!

In the two years that I’ve participated, it has been with Extra Life but this time it’s with GameSave. I’ve not heard of this fundraising site, but they connect with St. Jude which is a hospital that helps sick children. I am not very familiar with St. Jude, but after checking out what they do I am very happy to help and be a vessel to bless children. Not only that, I can clear games off my backlog and I hope that you would consider donating to the cause!

This is my donation page, and the video below is from Christian Geek Central which goes over the Game Save 2021 fundraiser. God bless, and thank you for your donation and time! Remember, I do not receive not even a penny from this and it all goes to the hospital and I encourage you to check out the website yourself if you are uneasy. God bless!
