This year, Gaming and God will be joining up with Christian Geek Central who does a yearly fundraiser to help children. For those that don’t know, Extra Life is an organization that is always raising money to help sick kids. It’s just a wonderful way of putting gamers together for a good cause. Gamers are going to play one way or another, so why not pair them with a charity that is helping others? Below was taken from their About Us page.
Extra Life unites thousands of gamers around the world to play games in support of their local Children’s Miracle Network Hospital. Since its inception in 2008, Extra Life has raised more than $40 million for sick and injured kids. Sign up today and dedicate a day of play for kids in your community!
As a fan and follower of Christian Geek Central, I discovered that Paeter (the owner of CGG) participates every year and was asking for team members to join. Last year I jumped in and gave it a shot. Thankfully, someone actually donated! I’m looking forward to stream more this year and see what God does. I will be praying as well for anyone who asks while streaming.
Thank you, and see below for more information on the stream, my donation page, and even rewards from CGG for those who donate.
