Gaming Ministries & Churches

Life can get lonely. If you’ve lived long enough, you will experience ups and downs with relationships. Some people come and go in our lives for a season, while others stay around longer. Building those relationships online or offline takes time and can be very beneficial for our mental health, but they can be hard to find!

Gamers and geeks often like being isolated, introverted, and shy. This isn’t a terrible characteristic, but it can be damaging if you don’t interact with communities often. God made us to be with others; that’s why He told Adam it wasn’t good for Him to be alone (Genesis 2:18). Sure, that verse is talking about Adam having a wife, but it’s always been God’s goal for us to be with Him and spend communion with other believers.

That’s why I made this page, for those of you who are looking for more than just a gaming group, but a church or ministry you can plug into. See which one you may be interested in, join their weekly service, Twitch stream, or however else they are reaching out. I do not endorse everything said, nor am I on staff with any of these groups. I find them to be a blessing to the body of Christ. Just remember, no church or individual is perfect so you may find things you don’t agree with.

I hope one or more of these encourages you to grow in your faith in Christ. If you are part of a local church or are looking for one, I would also suggest checking those around you out also. Digital is not the same as in-person ministry, but sometimes this is what you need in this season of your life, so check them out!
