Poem: Himself

Check me out on Facebook and Twitter, looking forward to meeting you, and if you have any poems you’ve written yourself please share below. I read every comment, and will be sure to give some positive critiques.

Galatians 2:20

20 My old self has been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me. So I live in this earthly body by trusting in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.

The tall trees that stand

Every flower that blooms

All the leaves and colors of this world

His Hands

From the changing sky

To the dawning sun and rising moon

Each star and planet suspended in space

His Eyes

The birds flying through the air

Fish swimming in the seas

The creatures that walk upon the Earth

His Mind

The Kingdom of glory

Lord of lords, Messiah

The wounded lamb

Victorious on His throne

His Heart

Preachers and prostitutes

Sinners and saints

Martyrs and murderers

Beggars and kings

The hated, broken, rich, forgotten, famous

To the saved and to the lost, He has given us
