This is the first of a series of poetry that I’ve written over the years. I just wrote them out of inspiration, nothing else. I hope you find something positive or helpful out of each one. I will post them every Sunday, until I run out or I continue to write more to add. Let me know what you think! God bless
Genesis 1:1Created from the Earth, He blew wind into our life, once dead, cold as ice, now alive, full of fire. Broken and ashamed, we pushed away His love. Full of sin, we walk across the dust, earth becoming earth again. We hear You in the airs, You cry out for us, yet we still disobey. Your vengeance burns, erupting like a volcano against our idols and adulterous ways. Walking the desert for 40 years, your prophets warn us, your words wash over us like waterfalls but we refuse to bathe in your protection. Silence over the Earth, 400 years time. The Holy Spirit blows through once again, Jesus Christ is born. Baptizing in fire, walking over waters, healing the earth, commanding the storms, so is the son of God, our savior, our King, our Lord. Who greater to save us, who can call himself “Messiah”? He is the great I AM, showering with grace, glowing with righteousness. He rose out of the ground, Breathing His love over our souls. Rise from the rubble, your past, Quench the flames, your passions for this world, Cut your streams of sin, the relations that pull you down. Take in the air of life, the majesty of His Word, into your mind, body, and spirit.
